Coordination
UTC is used for operational orders, intelligence timestamps, launch tracking and common scheduling. Local law establishes civilian daylight-saving rules and may amend them. Antarctic station schedules are operational conventions, not a single time zone for the whole claimed sector. The far-southern and Pacific territories require date-line awareness as well as an hour offset.
Vanuatu
Vanuatu uses UTC+11 in its ordinary civil schedule. Naval and inter-jurisdictional operations retain UTC coordination.
Queensland settlement, 1995
Both states use UTC+10 in standard time. North Queensland remains on UTC+10 all year. South Queensland advances to UTC+11 during daylight saving; the 2026 register follows the eastern calendar from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in April. Cross-border transport and businesses publish local time explicitly. National military, maritime and launch coordination continues in UTC.
